Team Description:
The Development team builds the digital foundation of Free Foodi. This team is responsible for the software architecture, the user interface, and the scalable business framework. By integrating secure sensor networks, database management, and UI/UX design, they create the seamless digital passport system that protects student privacy while delivering audit-ready compliance data to university administrators.
Open Listing: Product & Business Development Lead
- The Role: You will bridge the gap between our technical architecture and our end-users. You will help finalize the product design and assist in structuring the enterprise business model as we prepare for the CIE Summer Accelerator.
Key Responsibilities:
- UI/UX Design: Work with existing wireframes to finalize an intuitive, frictionless mobile interface for students to view inventory and redeem items discreetly.
- Software Strategy: Assist the core technical team in translating operational needs (like sensor data and digital passports) into actionable software features.
- Business Development: Help map out the financial and operational requirements to scale our B2B service from Cal Poly to the rest of the 23-campus CSU system.
Ideal Candidate: A product-minded student with experience in business strategy, UI/UX, or technical project management who wants to build software that solves immediate, real-world problems.
